Essentially, a dental implant is a tooth root replacement that is made of titanium, very strong and lightweight metal, and surgically implanted into your jaw. The metallic implant will serve as the fixed foundation of your new, fake tooth. Due to the nature of the procedure, we rely on our in-house periodontal specialists to implant the titanium post and our general dentists take over from that point to finish attaching the custom-built crown onto the implant post.
