The practice

Paying for your dental treatment

You can pay for treatment here with dental insurance, which we file for you, with CareCredit (a credit card for health care), or by cash, check or credit card. Nothing starts until you have a written plan and estimate from your consultation.

In short

How can I pay for treatment at this office?

You can use dental insurance (we check your benefits and file the claims), CareCredit, or cash, check and credit cards. CareCredit needs a credit application and approval, and its terms are set by the card issuer, not by the office.

Planning the cost of your treatment

Nobody is asked to decide on the spot. A typical order:

  1. Consultation and written plan

After your exam and records, you get the plan, listed phase by phase.

  2. Check your benefits

If you have dental insurance, we check what your plan covers. For larger work, a pre-treatment estimate from your insurer shows what it expects to pay before you begin.2

  3. Choose how to pay

Insurance, CareCredit, cash, check or credit card, or a combination of them.1,2

  4. Phase it if you need to

Larger cases are often done in phases anyway, with disease treated first and final restorations later, so the cost can follow the phases.5

Questions patients ask

Do you take my dental insurance?

Call us with your plan details and we will check. Claims are filed electronically.2

Does insurance pay for veneers or other cosmetic work?

Usually not. Dental plans generally do not cover treatment done only to change how teeth look. Treatment that also restores a broken or decayed tooth may be partly covered; your plan decides.3

Why isn't there a price list on the website?

Because the fee depends on what your teeth need, which materials are used and how many visits it takes. Florida's dental advertising rules also set conditions on any fee that is advertised. You get a written estimate after your exam.4

What if I can't do everything at once?

Tell us. Treatment is usually planned in phases, starting with what keeps your mouth healthy, so you can begin there and plan the rest.5
