Meet Our Deerfield Beach Dental Team
Dr. Angela Berkovich
Dr. Angela Berkovich received her training at the Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry and was recognized as one of “America’s Top Dentists” in 2014 by the Guide to America’s Top Dentists.
Dr. Berkovich is an active member of the following dental organizations:
American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (FDA), Atlantic Coast District Dental Association (ACDDA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Misch International Implant Institute, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the International Team for Implantology.
Dr. Baokhoi Bui
Dr. Baokhoi Bui received his training at the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his residency in endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics.
Dr. Bui is a native of Buffalo, NY. He has two daughters who share hobbies similar to his, including kayaking, biking, and spending time on the Florida beaches.
Dr. Laurie Gittess
Dr. Gittess has been delivering the highest quality of care in orthodontics to her community since 1988. She is one of a handful of orthodontist using the Advanced Damon system in South Florida. Dr Gittess earned her dental degree, master’s degree and certificates of orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio.
She is an esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Gittess gives lectures to dentists on orthodontics, and she is a published author and a former instructor at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr Gittess is also a member in many leading dental organizations, such as the:

- Florida Association of Orthodontists

Away from the office, Dr. Gittess enjoys traveling, sports and baking. Her husband, Dr. Robert Gittess, is an endodontists, and they have two children, Adam and Jennifer.
Dr. Lauren Steinberg
Periodontist
Dr. Lauren Steinberg grew up in Wellington, FL. She attended the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Dr. Steinberg continued her education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Subsequently to earning her DMD, Dr. Steinberg completed a three year residency program at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she received her Masters of Science and a specialty certificate in Periodontics. Dr. Steinberg is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
